Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj, Nashik is a century old renowned educational institution in Maharashtra. It manages over 485 educational organizations from Pre-primary to Ph.D. courses of all the streams. It was established in 1914.
The Samaj has 160 Secondary Marathi Medium Schools and 4 English Medium Schools, 22 Arts, Science and Commerce Colleges, 69 Primary Marathi Medium Schools, 24 Hostels, 5 D.Ed colleges & 2 B.Ed Colleges. It also has Architecture, Pharmacy, Management, Nursing, Agriculture, Pharmaceutical, Physiotherapy, Engineering, Medical and Law Colleges along with its own printing press. The banyan tree has spread over the nooks and crannies of the entire Nashik district.
Currently the total strength of students is Samaj’s 485 branches are more than 2, 13,598. In 2017- 18, its budget was approximately of Rs.649 crores 40 lakh.
The motto of the Samaj is ‘Bahujan Hitay, Bahujan Sukhay.’
