Horizon International Academy celebrated the Foundation Day of Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj, Nashik, as ‘Samaj Din’ with great enthusiasm. The programme was organised with the objective of developing a sense of social commitment, unity, cooperation, and social responsibility among students.
The programme was graced by Mrs. Sonali Raje Pawar, President of the Local Management Committee (LMC), as the Chief Guest. Members of the Parents-Teachers Association (PTA), Mother Teachers Association (MTA), Transport committee and School Management Committee (SMC) were also present on the occasion.
During the programme, an overview of the educational and social contributions of Maratha Vidya Prasarak Samaj was presented. Students were made aware of the organisation’s significant contribution to the development of society through education. The students participated enthusiastically and understood the importance of social unity, responsibility, discipline, and cooperation.
The programme was organised under the guidance of Principal Mrs. Poonam Singh. The celebration helped instil a sense of pride among students towards the institution and its work. On the occasion of Samaj Din, students were encouraged to embrace the values of social awareness and responsibility along with education.
The teaching and non-teaching staff made dedicated efforts to ensure the successful organisation of the programme.
