🇮🇳 Independence Day Celebration at Horizon International Academy
Nashik, August 15, 2026:
Horizon International Academy celebrated India’s 80th Independence Day with great pride, enthusiasm, and patriotic spirit.
The celebration was graced by Hon. Raju Brijlal Patil, Police Sub-Inspector, MIDC Ambad, as the esteemed guest. The LMC, PTA, SMC and MTA committee members, along with Principal Mrs. Poonam Singh, warmly welcomed the guest and extended their greetings to everyone on the occasion.
The programme began with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem, creating an atmosphere filled with patriotism and respect for the nation.
Students enthusiastically participated in various cultural activities, including patriotic songs, speeches, poems, music and a spectacular drill performance, along with dances. These performances paid tribute to the nation and remembered the sacrifices of India’s great freedom fighters.
The music drill was one of the highlights of the celebration, showcasing the students’ discipline, coordination, confidence and team spirit. Their energetic and synchronized performance added to the patriotic fervour of the occasion.
The celebration highlighted the importance of unity, discipline, freedom, peace, and responsibility. Students were encouraged to respect the values of the nation and become responsible and dedicated citizens of India.
Hon. Raju Brijlal Patil addressed the students and inspired them with his valuable words. Principal Mrs. Poonam Singh also encouraged the students to uphold the values of patriotism, discipline, and responsibility and to contribute positively towards the progress of the nation.
The programme concluded with a meaningful message to cherish our hard-earned freedom and preserve the spirit of unity and national pride.
